Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the Meridian Recruitment website, job board and related services. By accessing the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Using the site
The site is intended for individuals looking for remote work in Australia and for employers seeking to hire remote Australian talent. You must be at least 16 years old to use the site. You agree to provide accurate information and not to:
- Submit false or misleading details in an application or listing.
- Scrape, copy or redistribute job content without written permission.
- Interfere with the site's security, performance or availability.
- Use the site to send spam, phishing or unsolicited commercial messages.
2. Roles and applications
Meridian lists remote roles on behalf of Australian employers. Listing a role does not guarantee that it will remain open, that you will be interviewed, or that you will be hired. All interviews, offers and employment terms are between you and the employer once we introduce you.
We do not charge candidates for applying, being shortlisted or being placed. If anyone asks you for payment to secure a role through Meridian, please report it immediately.
3. Employer listings
Employers who post roles through Meridian warrant that:
- The role is genuine, lawful and available on the terms advertised.
- Pay ranges, hours and location details are accurate and not misleading.
- The employer holds any required licences (for example AFSL) where applicable.
- They will handle candidate data in line with Australian privacy law.
We reserve the right to remove or refuse any listing that does not meet these standards.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos, job descriptions and code — is owned by Meridian Recruitment or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. You may view and share links to pages, but you may not copy, modify, republish or exploit content for commercial purposes without our written consent.
5. Liability and disclaimers
We make every effort to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by Australian consumer law, Meridian is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, any role listed, or any decision made by an employer.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
6. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised terms.
